Octagonal font.
St Martin's church > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1868115 is situated on the edge of South Raynham, surrounded by a well-kept churchyard and adjoined by the former vicarage in the west. The building, including its tower, dates mostly from the 14th century but the porch is a 19th century addition. Apart from the original font not much of the interior has survived an extensive Victorian restoration. The greatest treasure of the church is a late Norman stone altar table with consecration crosses carved into its surface.
Possibly C13 stone altar mensa re-used, with squared cross motifs and consecration crosses.
