Restored Medieval screen with paint removed, upper parts renewed.

C18 pulpit.

A church is believed to have stood on the present site long before 1066. The present building > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2272694 retains many 15th century characteristics such as the baptismal font and some of the benches. The rood screen > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2272706 is 15th century also and was moved to its present position in 1911, following its discovery in a local barn.   The church was extensively restored in Victorian times and the very good stained glass windows > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2272711 - http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2272715 date from this time.
