Squared chalk and limestone, with sandstone dressings, slate roofs with decorative ridge tiles.
The tower arch incorporates some early C13 masonry including keeled responds and double chamfered arch, however the capitals are entirely C19.
Fragments of medieval masonry from Fotherby Church were removed at the time of the restoration to Brackenborough Hall where they were reused in the folly there.
