Early C14 nave with a contemporary timber roof of 4 trusses with curved braces to the tie-beams.

Architectural Features

North aisle of 1867 (when the church was restored by Slater and Carpenter) but with a mid C14 arcade without capitals to the piers.

West tower and westward extension of the nave by one bay of 1461.

Early C16 timber framed S porch, its principal rafters decorated with quatrefoils.

Inside, reset in the north wall of the aisle a C15 reredos, niches with crocketted gables flanked by tall pinnacles.

In the niches, once the Annunciation, but the figures of the Angel and the Virgin and the vase of lilies between them now all cut away.
