C15 tower but the body of the church was altered in the late C18 and restored with the addition of a south aisle and porch in 1874, possibly by the Lord of the manor, George Smart.
West tower is C15
Monuments: Robert Smith, died 1755, by Ford of Bath in a rococo style inscribed marble plaque surmounted by arms, urns and a flat obelisk.
