Architectural Features

3 stage tower, built 1440-1480, with squared flint base course, 3 light Perpendicular west window, semi-circular south stair turret, single light sound holes and 2 light belfry openings with tracery remaining to west.

Gargoyle below parapet to west.

Two 3-light Perpendicular windows, each side of nave, with ogee tracery and Tudor arches.

C15 north door in western bay, with bevelled plank door in single splayed opening.

Blocked south doorway of chamfered C15 brick.

C13 lancet in north wall, 2 light Perpendicular window to south.

Interior of tower contains C15 stair door and rectangular stone fireplace and flue.

C13 column and capital embedded in wall between south nave windows.

C13 eastern respond of 3 attached shafts, base and capitals with water holding mouldings.

C13 piscina with cusped head and stone shelf with cusped bracket.
