C12 west tower, early C13 aisles to nave, late C13 chancel, C19 belfry, C19 porch and alterations including tracery.

Architectural Features

Ashlar with repairs in red tile, slate roofs.

Interior has C12 tower arch, early C13 aisles with round piers and abaci supporting pointed double-chamfered arches, and a late C13 chancel arch.

Early C14 sedilia with continuous mouldings and crocketed gables.

C14 piscina with foliage and human face.

C12 font with alternating circle and lozenge ornament.

In the south aisle is a monument to the local authoress Winifred Holtby who is buried in the churchyard.
