Late C12 or C13 nave

Architectural Features

west tower, C14 chancel, largely rebuilt 1874 by F R Kempson.

West tower: early C13, two stages with C19 broach spire, plain C14 corbels and lancet windows to north and south.

late C12 two-centred arched headed south doorway with roll moulded jambs partly restored.

Six similar C19 windows to north wall and one late C12 semi-circular headed light remains intact toward centre rear blocked and altered north doorway.

Interior: C14 or C15 roof to chancel of three bays

Stone staircase in north-east angle of nave formerly leading to rood loft, C15 rood beam, with carved floral and vine ornament.

Font, C13, moulded octagonal base and round stem with C19 bowl.
