C15 tower: 3-stage diagonal buttresses to the west face and mid C19 crenellated parapet, both with flushwork

Architectural Features

Good C15 porch: knapped flint facade with 3 tiers of flushwork panels, moulded arch, hoodmould with carved spandrels and stops and 3 empty canopied niches above.

Both nave and chancel have mid C19 scissor-braced rafter roofs and crenellated wallplates enriched with fleurons: the chancel wallplate is C15.

A late Norman font in good condition.

Good C12 font, square with convex sides and attached corner shafts.

Beneath the organ gallery and to the north and south of the sanctuary is some C16 linenfold panelling taken from the nearby Swan public house.

Graded II* for surviving medieval work, especially the porch.
