The nave which has a C13 lancet window (blocked), is not in line with the chancel and its unusual proportions may be due to a pre-conquest plan.
The south aisle and arcade are of the early C14 with quatrefoil piers.
The west tower is of 3 stages the lower 2 stages are early C14
the top stage is C16, with brick quoins and an embattled parapet.
It has diagonal buttresses only on the lower stage and a C13 west window.
