Following the demolition of the old church in 1861, and its replacement at High Cross in 1862, a new church was built on the original (Saxon) site in 1886
stepped buttresses, plinth, lancets (triple at the east end, coupled below a cinquefoil at the west). The plain stone-faced interior has wall monuments from the old church, of 1628, 1768, mid C18, 1854 and 1909.
