C12 south door

Architectural Features

chancel arch otherwise mostly C14

Tower: offset and moulded bands, diagonal west buttresses (that to north-west with carved cross).

Cruciform window and string course beneath C15 upper stage with chamfered 2-light windows

Nave: C12 doorway to bay 1 has 2 orders of colonettes, scalloped capitals (weathered), zig-zag to inner order and restored beakhead ornament to outer order with hoodmould.

Window on right of door has 2 ogee-headed lights in square-faced surround, to east a large buttress and window of 2 ogee lights in chamfered, moulded surround, fragment of medieval cross in wall beyond.

Chancel: C14 quadrant-moulded priest's door on left of a 2-light double-chamfered window with shouldered heads.

C15 east window of 3 lights in a hollow-chamfered surround with hoodmould

C20 stained glass.

Font beneath tower apparently contrived in a medieval cross base la C15 font stands in the churchyard (q.v) ]
