Architectural Features

north aisle north windows with three 3-light square-headed windows, shallow cusping, that look early C16

traces of former rood screen stair turret, now dismantled, where a vertical masonry joint clearly visible.

capitals crisply carved with shields and foliage, one with armorial devices that include the duchy of Cornwall spread-eagle

all looks early C16.

8 bays, each bay with coupled lights with ogival cinquefoiled heads, and richly carved spandrels.

Glass: 2 late medieval (probably early C16) figures in the top lights of the north aisles, east window, of St John and St Michael.
