C12 chancel arch, otherwise late C15-early C16, C19 renovation and additions by G. F. Bodley, major renovation 1985.

Architectural Features

String course with gargoyles, saddle-back roof behind parapet.

South aisle has panelled buttresses between 4-light windows with Tudor-arched lights.

C19 north vestry, chancel clerestorey has 3-light and 2-light windows with Tudor-arched lights.

3-light east window with cusped lights and square head, hoodmould with face-carved stops

flanking panelled buttresses with beyond, south chapel window of 3 Tudor-arched lights and cusped, 2-light north chapel window with hoodmould.

2-bay north arcade with octagonal pier to double-chamfered arches, mid C16

wider single arch to south-aisle springs from brackets, early C16.

Mid C12 chancel arch with shafts to the west responds, decorated abaci and voussoirs with barrel moulding and zig-zag ornament.

Cylindrical font with floral frieze, C12.

Fine monuments, fitments and extensive collection of sculpture removed for conservation at time of resurvey.
