Chancel and north wall are probably C13, otherwise C15

Architectural Features

Plan: C13 nave (north wall) and chancel

C15 west tower, north transept, south aisle and south porch.

C19 restoration includes removal of possibly C15 wall plaster, replacing nave roof and replacing most fittings.

Mostly C15, Perpendicular.

Exterior: Largely unaltered since the C15.

Complete C15 tower and mostly C15 features in the rest of the church.

Chancel north lancet window is probably C13 remodelled in the C19

chancel 3-light east window is probably C14 also remodelled in the C19.

Except for C19 copy at west end of south aisle, the other windows are C15 Perpendicular.

C15 embattled south porch has weathered and pinnacled buttresses set back from the corners and 4-centred arched doorway with moulded jambs with bases and imposts.

Inner doorway is C15 4-centred with spandrels.

probably C13 or C14 wide arched niche over incised grave slab (or reused Pre-Conquest cross) in north wall of chancel, otherwise mostly C15 features including: tower arch

late C14 or C15 2-bay arcade with pointed arches between have and north transept

Later C15 5-bay arcade with standard A (Pevsner) piers between nave and south aisle

C15 waggon roofs over nave and north transept and C19 waggon roof over nave.

Fittings: Unusual C15 granite font with waisted base, integral corner-shafts and quatrefoils to 4 front panels, otherwise mostly C19 or C20 fittings.
