C13, west tower of the early C18, mainly a restoration of 1881 by G E Street

Architectural Features

Tile roof (repaired 1985) of triple pile across nave and aisles

The interior is Victorian, with a taller south arcade of late-Perpendicular style: at the east end of the north aisle a pointed arch resting on Norman half columns is a survivor of the old church

Stone pulpit, octagonal font, a few mid C19 small wall monuments, and an oil-painting of the Italian School (of the Crucifixian) above the south door.
