Very fine round tower, C12 or earlier

Architectural Features

early C16 red brick crenellated parapet, octagonal, the centre of each face with a quatrefoil within a square panel.

C12 nave with 2 restored C15 windows

the north wall has the remains of a C12 window with chip- carved head above the porch roof.

Simple C15 north porch with knapped flint facade and 2-light side windows.

richly ornamented neo-Norman tower arch.

Good arch-braced nave roof, 4 bays, angels to either side of the apex of each principal and to the foot of the wall posts, square bosses at intersection of principals and purlins, east-west arch-braces between wall posts, supporting the cornice.
