Parish Church early C14.

Architectural Features

Tower rebuilt c.1430-50 and south porch probably of same date.

Septaria repaired with red brick and rendered, plain tile roofs.

the original C14 west doorway has square hood mould with frieze of shields above also C14

North doorway C14 is flanked by corbel heads with head at apex of ogee arch.

The C15 south porch has original perpendicular lateral windows.

Good interior: C13 chancel

C15 tower arches.

Chancel arch has moulded shafts and hood moulds with mortice holes for the former rood screen.

C15 piscina in south wall of the sanctuary.

Near the south door is a C15 bench with carved poppy heads

In vestry C17 Holy Table.

The church is said to have been founded in the C13 by Thomas de Brotherton, son of Edward I.
