Early C16 tower with base of red brick and re-used stone surmounted by a timber-framed and weatherboarded belfry, heightened in the early C19, and containing one bell.

Architectural Features

Early C16 red brick south porch with knapped flint details, orenellated on east and west sides, crow-stepped gable-end with empty cusped niche above arch.

Plain, narrow C11 north and south doorways.

Set of 28 re-used C15 poppy-head bench ends with well-carved figures on the arm rests, including a thatcher with comb, a mermaid, a woman leading a little dog, a unicorn, and various animals and birds.

Fine late C17 3-sided Communion rails with barley-sugar twist balusters.

Early C19 brick floors: just inside south door 2 early medieval coffin lids are set into floor.
