Parish church, Medieval.

Architectural Features

Freestone quoins: the nave walling is of C11/C12 and has areas of herringbone work.

Two C12 lancets in the nave, one with shallow carving.

The north doorway has C11/C12 jambs, with a C13 hoodmoulded arched head.

Much mid C14 alteration: 2-light C14 windows in nave and chancel and a 3-light east window, and plain south doorways.

C15 tower with flushwork patterns in the parapets: the upper section is of late C16 or early C17 red brick with simple 2-light belfry windows: the nave face of the tower has buttresses rising from squinches with carved grotesques beneath.

The nave has a scissor-braced coupled-rafter roof, with a cornice moulded in the C14 manner.
