Architectural Features

C15 flint church with stone dressings, perpendicular aisles and clerestorey and a west tower which was rebuilt in 1868 after being struck by lightning in 1758.

The chancel is of the C14

the nave is C15.

The interior fittings include a fine carved C12 square font, the lower part of a former C14 rood screen and a low tomb recess in the north aisle.

There is a C17 monument to Robert Ryece of Preston Hall Many of the windows have heraldic shields, said to have been made for Robert Ryece.
