Monuments: four alabaster monuments in chancel, all Giffards of Chillington: Sir John died 1556 with two wives
One of four large painted alabaster tomb-chests with effigies of the Giffards of Chillington. This one is to Sir John Giffard (†1556) with his two wives Jane and Elizabeth. He wears the armour such as he wore at the Field of the Cloth of Gold.
