Mid-C12, some C14 alterations, restored 1870 by George Gilbert Scott Junior.

Architectural Features

Tufa with some sandstone dressings under a graduated stone tile roof.

The nave is of three bays with a C12 semicircular-headed window to the west

a C14 window of two trefoiled lights with quatrefoil in the two-centred head and a label.

The timber-framed porch was C14, but was mostly replaced in 1870.

The south door has a semicircular arch of two orders, the inner order plain, the outer with chevron ornament has engaged respond shafts with carved capitals.

The label is C19, tympanum is plain (the carving has worn away).

Fittings: C17 altar rail with turned balusters.

In chancel an altar tomb bearing a C14 recumbent stone effigy of a knight.

The font has a C12 round bowl on a C19 stem.

The C14 windows retain C14 glass in their heads all with elaborate canopies.
