Architectural Features

Tower of early C12 of 3 stages.

Small W window with stained glass of 1908, carved band, S shafted window with zigzag decoration, carved band, 4 triple arched bell-openings, the central blocked, gargoyles (complete only to E) and later battlements.

2 bay N arcade with double chamfered arches on octagonal pier and respond and W, now headless, figure corbel.

In N aisle, blocked N door, with pointed arch and 3 stone mullion windows, probably late C16/C17, of 1, 3 and 2-lights.

On S side fine standing wall monument to Roger Dale, died 1623.

Ornamented with carved draped heads and cherubs.

In S aisle further stone mullion windows, one with panels of C17 painted glass

C12 S doorway, altered C13.

S porch possibly late C15/16.
