Chancel south aisle (Cockfield Chapel): early-mid C16

The seminal “Guide to Suffolk Churches” (Mortlock, D.P: Cambridge, The Lutterworth Press, 2009 revision ISBN 978 0 7188 3076 2) tells us it is early C15 with 8 attached shafts round the stem and a typical bowl carving.

Good early C15 octagonal font, carved panels, the stem with engaged shafts and panelling between.
