Architectural Features

C15, restored in 1878, when north chapel built.

West doorway has moulded jambs and 4-centred head, no spandrel carving.

Crenellated parapet and gargoyles.

South Porch: stone gable-coping and clay tile roof.

North chapel window is a re-set Cl5 window, of same design as nave windows.

Interior: Cl5 tower arch has moulded jambs, responds and capitals.

Chancel-arch, Cl5, with panelled jambs and soffit and coupled responds with capitals.

Fittings: Font, cylindrical bowl with enriched cornice and necking, medieval, stem C2O.

Wall monument to George Dawbney of Gorwelt, died 1612, and Elisabeth his wife, freestone panelled tablet with painted achievement-of-arms.
