Stopham
West Sussex
Chancel and nave early Norman, with C13 windows in the chancel
C14 windows in the nave.
Tower rebuilt about 1600.
The east window, dated 1638, is a heraldic window, brought from the Manor Farmhouse and inserted in the church at that date, but the glass is older.
The church contains a fine series of brasses to members of the Barttelot family of Stopham House dating from the early C15 onwards.
Very good medieval church, unrestored.
