A small church of C12 origin much altered in the C18-C19, The most interesting feature is the early mediaeval timber-framed belfry dated by C A Hewett to the lst half of the C14.

Architectural Features

There is the remains of a C12 window in the north wall of the nave.

The south aisle and arcade is of circa 1330 and the chancel is early Cl6, with 2 good brick windows in the north wall.

The south porch is C15 with a C14 door and the west door is Cl5.

The interior has a small octagonal C14 carved font, a C13-Cl4 dug out chest

a C17 altar rail with alternate twisted and turned balusters. (RCHM 1).
