Probably Norman origins extended in C15 and restored in late C19.

Architectural Features

Norman font.

The 4 bay north aisle and south porch were probably added in the C15.

The north aisle has a blocked north door with hoodmould and has two C15 or early C16 square headed 3-light Perpendicular window, the western window with pointed heads and the eastern window with cusped heads.

the granite lintel is carved with an inscription 'ANNO DOMINO 1574 BY WLG' the south wall of the nave and chancel has a 3-light hollow chamfered mullion window and a 2-light mullion window to west of the porch.

The gabled porch has two reset circa late C15 mutliple moulded granite jambs to the entrance, the lintel above probably in place of an arch and there is a carved floral motif above in the gable.

C15 waggon roof with carved bosses.

The inner south door has a square headed frame with blind niche above and a circa C17 double lapped door with strap hinges and early door handle.

C19 furnishings, pulpit and altar rails and early C19 panelling in chancel.
