Architectural Features

C15 alterations.

Ragstone and flint rubble with some Roman and later brick, and limestone dressings.

C13 chancel with C15 east window of 4 cinquefoiled lights with vertical tracery in a 2 centred head.

North wall has C13 lancet window with shafted splays.

Early C13 arcade with 2 centred arches octagonal column with moulded capital and "Water holding" base.

Two, C15 windows in south wall.

C13 nave, 4 bays, with 2 centred arches, on cylindrical columns, moulded capitals and bases.

C15 west window and doorway with moulded jambs, 2 centred arch in a square head.

North wall has 2, C13, clerestorey windows.

C13, north aisle has 2, C15, windows of 2 lights and a C13 lancet.

C15 north doorway with 2 centred hollow chamfered head and moulded label.

C15 window in west wall.

C13 south aisle has 2, C14 windows with trefoiled ogee lights and an early C13 lancet with moulded splays, carved imposts and a restored head.

South doorway is early C13, with rounded arch of 2 moulded arches, jambs have 2 attached columns with moulded capitals and bases.

C15 north chapel, has one C15 window.

Late C15 timber belfry and spire with multiple arch bracing and cambered tie beams.

C15 roof to chancel is 7 cants, on moulded wall plates.

Dormer windows inserted in C16

South porch is C15 with arch braces to collar roof with spur ties at eaves.
